Vertical Drop Heroes HD

This is a very fun and challenging game, but not too hard for casual gamers to still enjoy. You die a lot and redo missions, but they are randomly generated levels so it's hard to get bored. You are also earning new characters and getting new skills and abilities, so even death is fruitful. It's also fun to play with friends split-screen. However, a couple issues. If you are playing split-screen co-op and player 1 dies and player 2 still lives, within seconds the game crashes. It happened 5 out of 6 times in that scenario. There's also issues with moving platforms getting stuck when players or enemies collide with them. The platform bug is not critical though.

The unlockable skills and random hero generation give this game a ton of replay value. It's fast paced so it's great for a quick game session too.

It froze on me and crashed about 15 to 20 times and most happened on end game. Other than losing an hour here and there it is a good rougelike. Check out the game clips on this page, a few of my crashes made it on there.
