Viking Frontiers

Three hours in and loving it. It's like Viking Minecraft with elements of other survival games. Has a very promising future. Could use more polishing and maybe some bug fixes. Pretty decent Norse history references, as well. Story and world are believable. I would love to see this game grow, refine, and flourish. Hoping there is marriage, procedurally generated maps, sailing, polished combat, and maybe even pagan and Norse myth influences to come.

I was hoping the ui would be like medieval dynastys its a bit clonky nothing a few updates cant fix but i was hoping i could start with custom settings and 0 population hopefully in the future i will be keeping the game i believe it will be great after a few updates. Edit they immediately patched a bug thank you devs! Sadly about 22 hours in my game froze and i like to keep my saves clean so i went to delete my last auto save and make a manual but lost all progress please add a skip feature i wanna start fresh plzzz

47 in game days. Docks built. 19 villagers have arrived. I have collected all the scrolls for. Tier 1 & 2 . But cant get amber to open. Tier 2. Because the trader is a no show. I'm not starting over. Fix the glitch. The chest for the trader there but invisable. I can not move forward. Fix this problem please.

The only issue with the controls is the aim being LB, its just very awkward. But there are a few bigger issues. The people assigned to the first farm building wont harvest, the fields rotted and they did nothing even with plenty of tools. They did plant though. The henhouse seems bugged. Bought the Roosters and Hens for the quest and put 40 wheat grain in the chest at the henhouse but grain disappeared in 1 day and animals disappeared after 2 days. Even if I would of had more seeds to grow more grain they still would had died because I believe the grain took 4 days to grow but also not sure because it does not say harvest when looking at it. And last issue I've found so far is with the trader once you get the dock. I hear the sound play to notify you of the trader but he never shows, so I'm unable to get more seeds. Hope to see these issues resolved. Will update my rating as updates come in.

I have no patience anymore for creators that do not understand what has come to be basic controller layout and then do not allow me to remap the controls. B to jump? NO. X doesn't interact? BAD. LB is aim, instead of LT? What. Are. You. SMOKING?! Fine. Make the controls as sacrilegious as you want. Make Jump d-pad Right or something stupid. But LET ME REMAP IT. If you add controller remapping, I will play more and actually judge the game on its gameplay merits and revise my rating accordingly.
