Been playing the heck out of this game since I got it. Interest increases your debt. Pay off your loan early or upgrade your equipment with the cash. To get a decently upgraded ship you have to fight through more levels, risking losing it in battle. After it's paid off there is no more upgrading on that particular ship and it is put in the "Valhalla" portion of the game to compete for highscores on the leaderboard. Playing a new game starts the process of building and purchasing a new ship to possibly add to your armada. Parts gathered from the debris of battle can be traded into your ship or melted down for cash. Great game! ✨

Pretty good top down shooter.
Education system is strange at first. Overall the game is decent. Good amount of parts to equip ,sell and upgrade. Ships are uniquely different, and gameplay is fun. Definitely worth $5.

Upgrade...die...start over
This game could have been so much more. Im so sick of these die and start over games. You can upgrade your ship and then upgrade the uprades, but when you die you have to start a new game and lose everything you did. It DOES NOT savve any progress. Its just an endless loop of upgrade.....die and repeat...

Simple arcade distraction
Fun little arcade space shooter. No real progression beyond unlocking ships. The real progression is the leaderboard. Generally a send-up of America's higher education system. Put yourself into debt to start each run, then fight hordes of enemies to earn cash to improve your ship or pay off the your student loan debt. Die before your debt is payed and you don't get into valhalla. Big debt to start off increases earning potential. Those who earn the biggest profit are memorialized on the leaderboard.
So nice social satire with fun arcade gameplay.
