VORON: Raven’s Story (Xbox Series X|S)

Its the best game I've ever played

I just played the demo on a whim, not expecting much more that a charming and potentially emotional skybound walking sim for that very specific subset of people who just can't get enough of the feeling of winged flight (you know who you are, you odd little ducks), but there is more to this. This is a proper game. They somehow managed to take a very small set of mechanics, basically just flying, gliding, walking, hopping, and picking stuff, and wrung a genuinely engaging and sufficiently diverse gameplay experience out of it, and for the life of me, i couldn't tell you exactly how. It's just a gestalt entity, this thing lol And aspiring game devs really should give this a run. From the script to the mechanics to the way it evokes emotion from the player, it's a demonstration in how you don't need a lot to do a lot. It punches way above it's weight.
