Plays alot like advanced wars. Ignore the dippies spewing political hate instead of leaving a genuine review. Fun lil turn based strategy mimicing gameboy era style.

Easy to learn turn based, story based fantasy game where you play as a group of large rodents/imps exploring the game world while engaging in turn based battles against human bandits. If you have an intolerance towards reading then you might not enjoy this game. It isn't very action packed and you're basically playing through a storyline. Most of the reviews I've read on here seem based on the games cover art. Unless it is now considered "woke" to read books, as reading books does get mentioned and the plotline is mostly delivered through reading. Also, the tiny generic human bandits aren't all white people, as there are various shades represented in the pixelated enemies. I apologize for insulting anyones intelligence by addressing that aspect of a retro pixel game. I might continue playing this in my down time for achievements.

I'm early in but game seems pretty good so far. I also never played the first one but I'm getting Advance Wars vibes which is nice. 👍
