Wartales: The Mercenaries Edition

The zoom complaints are meaningless. The game is difficult. I have novice difficulty settings, but went ironman save mode (twice). The more you grow your troop. The more resources are needed. Animals eat a lot. More humans means wages that need paying. They die in battle, they dead. Criminal? Raise your wanted level past 3 and fight tactics become harder. Retreat? 2 of my guys captured. Tamed a couple bears and came back to rescue my captured 14 ingame days later. Captured some bandits and got some money and lower wanted status. Raid a caravan for supplies. Careful of the guards. You dont want a fight an unplanned encounter. This game is real. This game takes a brain to play. Always carry medicine and repair tools. Cook special meals for buffs. You cannot win every fight. Do not be afraid to run. Maintain morale. GO FORTH CAPTAINS!

I allied with two boars to kill a bandit leader. As we slogged it out in the mud, lightning raining down, I realized I had finally found inner-peace.

Mount&Blade + Xcom 2 + For the King • Nice graphics. • Nice medieval setting/landscape. • Good voice acting. • Combat is very similar to Xcom, and is pretty solid, but has a twist to it that requires many battles to fully understand and utilize (even for Xcom players). • Sandbox.... With a few preset backstories to choose from. Meaning, you can piece together your own story, while at the same time trying to figure out what you're supposed to be doing (Is this life?). I'd write more about how funny some bugs were, but the few bad bugs I've encountered have been so irritating and disruptive I had to knock a star off. Bugs I Encountered: • Saves Deleting • Rearranging your party being a 50/50 chance you will have to dashboard • Several grasshoppers • Infinite Salt in my inventory holding my entire group hostage • All the dudes with girl voices • All the girls with dude voices • My Pony becoming an alcoholic (Fully Endorsed tbh) Overall: Good fun, kinda buggy. You should try it!

I had the save glitch happen 1 time... Not fun... So i tried 1 more time, instead of having 6-7 save files and overwriting bottom each time... Delete bottom create new save... Never had issue again... Also if your screen freezes, instead of dashboarding, turn ur controller off then back on... Hope that helps
