This one surprised me
I didn't expect much, just a mediocre experience that would look simple & bland but oh was I wrong. It's quite fun, not mediocre at all. It also looks MUCH better than you would think from photos & clips, even on my giant 4K tv (more so because of that actually).
This is like games of the mid to early 80's in that you have a set screen & single design look like Centipede, Robotron 2084, Dig Dug, Tempest, Frogger, etc. and like those sort of old arcade games, things will amp up as you get into later waves but how to play remains simple to pick up & play. You'll know from the first wave if you are gonna enjoy this or not.
This is not for the epileptic or anyone sensitive to a LOT of flashy things on screen. It's no bullet-hell, the busy screen is a mix of things popping up (not just enemy stuff).
Once you get powered up enough, you get a temporary boost to your flame thrower to wipe out stuff on the screen, sorta like Black Widow: Recharged but this is a much better and more fun game.
