Weapon: Masamune (FFXV)

At times the sword will randomly do ⚔ 9999 ⚔ damage despite the character level (LV 1-99). Base power is ok but if used properly you'll be unstoppable as you progress and level up. A must have!

I actually first heard of the masamune from playing Chrono Trigger as a kid. It hyped me up that much more to play this game. Sure it's not devastatingly powerful after you've been playing for a while but i feel it's only there for nostalgia.

Please, don't suck.

Out of all the greatswords this became my main for everything and that buff it has is well worth it even if you can't upgrade it.

Kind of cool but it's not upgradable. Masamune just gets left behind quickly as you find better 2 handed swords only minutes after starting the game.
