Whispering Willows

I enjoyed the game, a really good time waster. the only thing i didn't like about the game is the saving time between transitions through areas. but the story and eventually revelations made the game worth it

2 story achievements: Flower power and the knight weapon puzzle don't unlock. Was reported on steam in 2014, dev said they'd patched an extra checkpoint at the end of the game that would unlock any glitched cheeves. Guess they couldn't be bothered to fix it for the xbox release and replaying it doesn't help. If you're an achievement hunter, save your money.

Fun Metroid/Vania type game heavy on the story and exploration. Spins a good yarn and the mechanics are cool. Controls can feel a bit stiff, but that's a very minor issue given the game's presentation.

I enjoyed this game from start to finish. Loved the art style, the atmosphere, and the music was great. I really liked the story i wish i had played sooner. It is short only took 3 hours but i think it was well spent. If you dont like reading this isnt the game for you. You have to pick up and read all the notes for the story otherwise you wont know whats going on. The comedian ghost was my favorite. I didnt have any problems with the achievements.

I got this game while it was on sale and finished it in a nice 4-hour stint. The story was a little confusing, but remained interesting throughout. Less interesting, however, was the gameplay, which consisted primarily of tedious back-and-forth walking. If you're looking for a stylized light-horror piece, though, this is one to consider.
