Without a Dawn

I don't normally gravitate towards these visual novels, but I'm glad I stumbled upon this one. Dark tone, with enough intrigue to push me forward. The visual aesthetics were quite striking, and served the narrative well. Recommended 👌

Perfect spooky and cozy night game, so unique, dare I say inimitable, with a compelling story, dark and forboding visuals, and masterful audio and art direction.

Incredible storytelling presented through an ASCII aesthetic. Strong atmospheric sounds and music build tension, unsettles the player, and then lulls them into a false sense of security. It was a ride from start to finish. Highly recommend!

This game randomly caught my eye when scrolling through new games to play and I thought the art style was interesting made you feel unsettled by that alone on top of great sound effects and interesting dialog showing how people cope when there minds are racing with stressful and anxious dark thoughts forcing to do stuff just to ease your mind and then when something uncanny does happen it makes the character's mind race more dragging them into the darkness and tricking them that darkness it good compared to the "viel of light" atleast what interpreted from 1 playthrough. Def worth just for 9 bucks reminds of Stories Untold episode 1, also a great game too for other games to play if you like this. But this is great short horror -dark-gloomyish story hope it gets better recognition.
