    DAMN!!!

This is the best DLC I have ever played. It takes XCOM 2 (which is already amazing) and turns it into a damn masterpiece. The Chosen are awesome bosses with excellent guns if you beat them for good. Also their dialogue is brutal, eloquent, and beautiful. The bonding system, training facility that lets you add additional abilities for each soldier, and the covert ops center massively increases the replay value for a game that is top tier when it comes to playing time.... Then they had the nerve to add zombies to the mix? It had serious issues working in the past that scared me off but this DLC has made a a very good strategy game a million times better. Btw deleting photos (another really cool new feature) and/or old saves will help with crashing issues. Too many customizations are also an issue but i cant sacrifice having a squad going to war dressed like KISS.

Try this way to avoid crashes

First and foremost, this DLC is AMAZING! If you love XCom then you owe it to yourself to pick this up immediately! However, there have been multiple complaints, not all unfounded, about frequent instances of crashing. Here is what I have found to be a good method to prevent that: Keep an eye on how many photos you have in your gallery (the game will usually add one after every mission, whether you choose it or not). I find that if the number of photos is kept no higher than 30, then crashes become far less common. It's weird to think that simple pictures could cause so much trouble in a game like this, but apparently they can.

Stop selling the DLC until it`s fixed

I love the base Xcom game, so bought the DLC in good faith. Upset about finding out that the game will not load past the initial loading screen after selecting your profile. How did so many crash issues make it past beta?? Firaxis should give refunds to all the customers that get utterly disappointed with an expensive DLC that you can`t play, and keeps you from playing the original Xcom2. Firaxis should be scrambling to fix this... This is causing a lot of damage to their previously good reputation. This is ridiculous that they are still selling a DLC to more people when they know it doesn`t work, and this is after 2 week delay. Why would you release an unplayable DLC AND CONTINUE to charge people $40??? Way to rob people. How many bad reviews do they need before they suspend the ability to buy this until Firaxis fixes this. Save your money until these issues are addressed.

Just a piece of hot mess.

Gee, where do I begin? There are so many problems with this expansion. So many things that aren't working, many people can't even get past the main menu. And if you can't get past the main menu. You will realize if you have devoted your time to making a character pool that 1.) There is no way to transfer your current pool the expansion, and 2.) the maximum of characters you can have is less the original Xcom 2... If you are a hardcore Ironman player look out for lost saves due to game crashes ... AND WHATS WORSE THE DEVELOPERS DONT EVEN ADDRESS THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE EXPANSION... NO EXCUSE!!!! šŸ‘ŽšŸ‘ŽšŸ‘ŽšŸ‘Ž

I'll start by saying I'm a diehard XCOM fan. Been playing since PC and Terror From The Deep came out, so having write this review is a bit painful for me. What started out as great gift to XCOM fans around world has turned into a bad joke. How could the developers choose to release this?! Potentially a great game ruined by constant crashes & burned save games. Weeks later, no patch yet & none announced. What a fiasco. Simple solution: Repair the game or refundšŸ’° 'Nuff said
