XenoRaptor is a frantic and frenzied twin-stick shooter, pitting ridiculously armed space dragons against an interstellar armada. Strip your defeated foes of their parts to assemble the ultimate weapon. From evasive teleporting and defensive mines, to railguns, tractor beams, and mind control, XenoRaptor is bullet-hell action with countless tactical possibilities.
I've tried clearing Mine Field 4 times and each time, it closes at the second the boss wave starts. Tried reinstall and using different items, same result. Only cleared maybe 1/3 of the game. Otherwise it would have been decent, if I could actually finish it.

REMINDS ME OF AN OLD DREAMCAST FAVORITE...👍
Wow...finally after all these years, a game that plays, looks and feels just like ARMADA on the sega dreamcast...it was my all time favorite dreamcast game as a matter of fact, and you created a beautiful and fun spiritual successor to it with XENORAPTOR, the only difference is ARMADA had a heavy rpg element in which you could accept different quests and bounties to grind for XP and credits, but the action is near identical, even the boss battles have the same look and feel...I love this game, I'm so glad I found it, great job creating it...✌️👍

Could have been awesome. It is not.
You only get 1 (random) upgrade from defeating bosses. To get to a boss, you have to fight swarms of enemies for say 10 minutes. There are 3 bosses per level, and if you die, you start completely over. Spend 30 minutes getting to a boss and die at the last second? Too bad, you have spend another 30 minutes doing the same thing. With no upgrades, because you didn't beat the boss. Not gaining exp, coins, etc. from fighting the swarms between bosses means you invest another 30 minutes getting back to the boss that killed you, but with no hope that the outcome will be any different. Die again? Another 30 min. Etc. This gets old VERY fast. This mechanic ruins the game. 5 stars if you could incrementally upgrade. But its just awful and a chore after a few hours. I tried so hard to like it, but there is no point in wasting your time doing the exact same thing with no hope of progression. Its overpriced which is ok if it has replay value. But, conservatively, it does NOT. Sadly.
