Yakuza 5 Remastered

This Taichi Suzuki guy is pretty cool, hope he's in other games.

It's a tie between Yakuza 0 and 5 I think. The game has problems for sure, the story kinda drags and falls apart near the end, and by the time I reached the final character, I kinda just wanted the game to end. But when the big moments hit, I was an emotional wreck. There is some seriously amazing writing here, though it's *really* cheesy. The side content is my favorite in the series, and every character is so fun to play. Play this game! It's much more satisfying if you've played Yakuza 1-4, though.

Many complaints on here about pacing, but I was too busy playing the side content to notice. Tuning my taxi, hunting legendary bears, becoming the top idol and slamming homeruns were so full of depth and content it was crazy. First one of the remastered trilogy I attempted to finish all the sub-stories and thoroughly enjoyed them. 5 is tied with 0 for me for best gameplay, but 6 had the best story. Play Yakuza!

Great, cheese filled combat? Check. Story that kinda makes sense but not really? Check. ALL MIGHTY SKIP CUTSCENE? Yes. 13 salt shakers out of 10

The crazy amount of content is both good and bad. The story being broken up so much is the main downfall. Way too many characters that all have different arcs. Kiryu is thrown into this one from the start. And then forgotten about until the end. My least favorite, but I still cant help but love it.
