Ys Origin

Probably wondering what i meant by locked away. Well Ys has been a long running series before I was even born, but unfortunately Ys now exists on every platform besides Xbox. Hopefully one day we may see newer Ys titles or even Trails on Xbox. if Yakuza can come to Xbox, so can Falcom games.

Been an enormous Falcom fan for over a decade. For lovers of video game music, they are simply as good as it gets. If you're familiar with the name Ys, then it's absolutely no surprise that this game is easily worth a perfect score. The surprises here are that the publishing team understands something that Atlus and Square-Enix don't: The low Japanese appeal of the Xbox One isn't fixed by ignoring it. It is only fixed by giving us awesome Japanese titles... like this! And it brings me so much joy to know the Xbox One version of such a spectacular game has content that neither the PC nor PS4 has. My only hope is that I'm not the only one who recognizes how important it is that this gem is appreciated. This game may decide whether everything else in the Ys series comes to Xbox One... and with Ys comes incredible influence within the RPG community. Either way, this was the easiest $20 I've ever spent, and I'll happily buy any Falcom title released on Xbox One.

Please bring more Y's games to Xbox!

Legendary franchise is now on X-Box with a hackn' slash style gameplay that has jump mechanics that's also a JRPG!

Playing this amazing franchise again makes me reminisce about the golden age of gaming, when devs made high quality games cuz they loved what they did and took pride in their work and accomplishments. Unlike most devs today who release unfinished bugged junk, or f2p $uccubu$ disasters. Theyre just catering to a generation of gamers that are so quality-blind that they just keep buying the same moldy cash cow franchises that dont care about quality or fun, they just want your money. Arguably, whats even worse, they fall for the "free" unfinished game that they spend over $100, or even $100's on, while the devs/publishers laugh all the way to bank. They wouldnt recognize a high quality (and actually fun to play) game if it spit in their faces! Thank you for porting this MASTERPIECE! Now all I need is for someone to port the Working Designs Sega CD library and I can live out my days happy!
