ZHEROS

I found myself enjoying this more than I expected but an antiquated check point system and annoying platforming sucks the fun out of it. Nobody who plays a modern game in this day and age enjoys a punishment of a full stage restart because they missed the last jump in an unwelcome platforming section. The combat is quite satisfying though a tad slow to respond at times and the art is quite good and sets a fun but cheesy mood. All in all its worth a shot on sale but could be WAY better with a few tweaks.

Zheros is a "Run of the mill" beat-em-up that left me with a funny taste in my mouth. It's not bad, but it does nothing good. The combat feels very akward. The controls work against you in this game. I hate it when designers try to be cutting edge with some of these controls. There's no reason to do the advanced combos, It's easier to mash X and Y to see if anything intresting happens. The gun is useless, and the ammo drains faster than my sanity while playing this game. The difficulty curves here are unforgiving. If you try to play the game on hard, prepare to get destroyed on some really unfair points in the game. I'tll flood the room with enemies, stunlock and kill you faster than you quit a Dark Souls game. It's pretty lame. It's pretty repetitive, expect to fight the same five enemies the entire game. Nothing seems to be new here, and that's not what bothers me. What does is the game feels like the Devs sat with a checklist thinking "Ok, what did every 3D fighting game before do?"

The game is simply not fun at all and its not worth downloading, save your money

otherwise, the game does enough to feel as it could be fun, right before it crushes your soul.

there is absolutely nothing new or fun in this game. it's very boring. do not get it.
