Zombie Driver Ultimate Edition

With lots of zombies to destroy by running them down & with a few different power-ups to shoot, roast, blowup, or railgun them to a bloody mess. Offers a couple different game modes to help change things up a bit and earn some extra money for upgrading your vehicles & guns. Downside is that it can get repetitive & they haven't released any add-ons to help keep things interesting. Regardless it's a fun game and easy to learn. At current sale price it's worth a shot and you may enjoy yourself a bit, had fun playing and still play sometimes. I would have given a 5 star but I have given my reasons above. Enjoy & have fun...

It's awkward at first b/c you can't see far ahead of yourself, and it's a challenging game, but stick with it, you'll improve quickly. The game has great atmosphere, art style, andd fun game mechanics. And there'ss plenty of content to keep you satisfied.

The game is vehicular goodness that wouldve been tremendously aided with multiplayer be that couch or via XBL.

Zombie Driver is the incarnation of Blood Drive (Xbox360/PS3) Originaly under the Xbox Arcade line of titles w/ a 400 achievement boost Zombie Driver HD was given a massive overhaul when it was ported to the fledgling XBoxOne console! The result was very strong (The first two year of the XboxOne was a manic unorganized mess) The digital store was thin this game was a huge bright spot! If you are a fan of Twisted Metal you'll really appreciate this homage (pick up & fun to play Arcade release that runs very smooth in 2024 still looks very strong especially for a throw away early digital "Arcade" release (it's a real shame it was never given a proper sequel) it's a IP that adds a twist to the oversaturated Zombie sub genre.

Been playing for 2 or 3 hours and it's been a blast for me so far. I've only been doing racing tournament mode and a little of the Slaughter survival arena mode so far. So I have yet to see how campain is (the racing tournament is much fun). One thing, older gamers 40+ are most likely to be who enjoys that most and especially if you have a nice 55" or bigger tv. The racing, which for some reason gives me a little feel of Spy Hunter, Death Race remake movies & a certain offroad Midway arcade game from long ago I loved. In this game you use various weapons, some really cool like flamethrower. Scenery has more variety than expected and race tracks aren't so strict with side boarders (plus has many alt paths and off road spots to cut across). Blasting adversaries in the race is much more fun here than cart racers. If I knew I'd have so much fun, I'd have gotten this long ago. Always assumed it would be mediocre at best and it's an assumption I was quite wrong on, at least for me.
