Is this game worth 12 USD or less? Yes. Is it balanced? No. Is it fun? Sometimes.
AoM can get hectic, but it can also get frustrating. 2-player is where it shines the most. 3+ can make so many enemies appear on screen that the FPS drops dramatically. The nature mage is the ONLY mage that can self/team heal but she has horrendous dps/skills. Health drops pretty much cease to exist past the 3rd themed zone. You lose your staff, mission xp, and some money when you die. You do not heal between missions either. Only 1/10 players have finished the last mission and I understand why. The King/Princess have HORRENDOUS pathing/thinking...they will legit walk straight into fire. There are just many things that needed QoL testing. But, the game is fun enough to still want to beat/play. The bosses are decently fun, the missions (minus some camera angles) are fairly designed, and the mage skills are decent enough to play with.
Overall, this was a very strong start but weak finish game. Solid 3/5.

Cool Little Game
I have a little over an hour into it and so far it has been pretty cool. There are 4 different mages to choose from and 4 different difficulty levels. There is a skill tree where you can upgrade your health, speed, etc. and unlock new skills. You can replay previous easier levels to gain xp and upgrade if you get stuck on a level youu cant get past. It has local co-op. I would have given 5 stars for online co-op but its still a great game. I have had no issues, has ran great. It is easy to pick up and play as it is a twin stick control...LS moves you, RS shoots, RB refills your mana, X uses a skill....so far thats as far as I know but could be more. Its worth the money. 🙂👍👍

Good Local Coop
Very fun local coop that can be played with a variety of skill levels. Each character has unique skills that add to the variety. Does get a little repetitive at times but so does most of these twin stick shooters. I definitely recommend this game to any fans of local coop games...too bad they seem to be few and far between.

Great for Co-op
Great Co-op game. Their are 4 mages to choose from (each with their respective skills and playstyles.) Worth mentioning that two people can not select the same mage type. Also their are 4 difficulty options (Dont be fooled, to some even on the easiest setting there is plenty of challenges.) However you can replay levels to gain exp to help you progress. There were a couple of bugs with replayed boss fights that did not let the fight finish after the boss was beaten. (exited to map and played another level to bypass.) As well as friends whose character did not save. However the game was still a lot of fun. Apart from playing with new people and getting achievements there was not much replay value. But to be honest i bought it because it reminded me of playing gauntlet legends long ago. Would love to see more stages released because even tho getting to the end took time the game felt short.

Fun and inexpensive
Great game with a more in depth skill tree than anticipated. The game play feels very responsive and satisfying. The only thing I want added is online cooperative play.
