Aliens: Dark Descent - Lethe Recon Pack

Title says it all. This is what the original XCOM wanted to be in pure form. Get this, it's worth every penny. Combat: A+, Gameplay Mechanics: A+, Atmosphere, Tone, & Environment: A+. Unlike other reviews I am experiencing zero bugs or glitches. 🎖️5 out of 5🎖️

No issues on my end, only bug I have recieved is looking at thhe character during a mission. Will admit the game is difficult, had it on normal and started again on story after 1 of chaacters were taken to incubated lol. Great story as well. 1st time providing a review and I am enjoying my experience.

I'm quite biased, as I've always loved the Alien Franchise. That being said, minor bugs that are easily fixed by reloading the game which takes all of 15 seconds isn't a big deal to me, especially as it's a single player game (cough cough Fireteam Elite cough). On the other hand, bugs are bugs, and can be fixed before releasing a game, so I can't give it a full 5 stars.

We have a cat

I bought the game expecting it to suck. I love the Alien franchise and figured if there are to be more games made in the future, there has to be a visible market now, right? Plus, the $40 was a most reasonable price for a new game... Holy hell was I so wrong, but in the best way! The game quickly became addictive as the plot unfolded and the gameplay continued to intensify. I am not a fan of this gamestyle usually, but it wasn't overly complicated and works really well for this game. I beat the story and not only do I want MORE, but I felt satisfied with the conclusion... A feeling many games have not met with their anticlimatic ends. Sure, there are a few bugs or glitches here or there, but they didn't ruin the overall experience. (Just imagine if Bethesda had made it... Nowhere near that glitchy!). So, I felt I owe this game an honest review, a solid 5-star rating, and an apology to the dev team for expecting so much less than you delivered. Outstanding work all around. Cheers!
