Alterity Experience

Alterity Experience is a mixed bag imo (for the low MSRP it's somewhat impressive) but, something is "Off" maybe on other platforms it's a VR© release (it's very much a walking Sim with a heavy story narrative) inspired by Fire in the Sky & The McPherson Tape (always having your smart phone in left hand is more of annoyance due to the janky lighting) Graphically it's all over the place the detail goes from "Wow" to PSOne era short comings! (The original Prey '06 did Aliens in such a amazing way, while this is not in the same sub genre it comes off more like a demo/tech build to a much bigger game (it's trying to copy the Hollywood Craze of found footage films) Where less is more even if you view this as a psychological alien abduction/close encounters/horror game it's a little shallow

Great alien game! Just needs a Nick Cage DLC 👽

Alterity Experience presents an interesting framework for a game but a short runtime and shallow depth really hurt the experience. The concept of using a smartphone to defend against an alien intruder is kinda neat but not detailed enough in this nor are the lack of story elements or puzzles in between. Some atmospherics are done pretty well, adding some immersion, but the house feels a bit bland. Could maybe recommend on sale for easy achievements * Product Received for Free*

This is a puzzle game with scifi theme, its like 5 nights at freddys with aliens. The whole game takes place in a house, so not really a walking sim but u do walk.

so buggy that i couldn't finish the game
