AO Tennis 2

A very fun and challenging game. The career mode is really quite impressive. Lots of personal customizations available in game and through the online community for creating your character. This is not a game intended for you to begin as a tennis champion even if you're brazen enough to select a 'star' player as your character. Regardless how you start, you'll need to train and practice. Also starting out on a lower difficulty level helps. I don't understand the compliments about a flawless AI. I haven't experienced that. Depending on your opponent's skill and stamina levels...they will make unforced errors. The thing that keeps me giving this 5 stars is that the players movements on certain ocassions gets wonky for lack of a better word. Fortunately, this doesn't happen to often. Overall, l believe this would be a very entertaining game for someone who enjoys the sport and doesn't mind investing a little time and effort to get the most fun.

Great feel to the controls, classic tennis buttons with some nuances that allow for dialing in your shot. Graphics are realistic enough, impressed mostly with the lighting. My only disappointment is in the training drills, nothing super fun like the old carnival style games ... Was that TopSpin or SmshCourt? I wish every tennis game had those. That said, this is still an excellent Tennis game.

I am not a big fan of the sport of Tennis, but, I have in the past played Tennis video games on NES and Wii. The one thing I could say about those games are that they were actually fun. Even for me not knowing all aspects of the sport. For $3 bucks I got a winner. If you was one of those 80s kids who had an NES then you know what i'm talking about. The bottomline of this game is that it FUN! The customization is awesome. To be able to create a player that looks like my non Tennis playing *** is great. To even have my last name being announced during a game is awesome. Stuff I didn't understand is taught to you with awesome tutorial. There are so many things to create and customize that I haven't even touched yet. Gameplay is even better. This game is definitely worth more than what I got it for. If you're not a fan of sport and you just want a fun sports game, add this game to your collection. You will definitely be glad that you did. Best $3 I ever spent.

Went on sale so I finally got this. Probably the best overall of what's out there.... I actually won't suggest going right into career mode to start. Because you can literally create your own player and MAX out their stats!! Then play in a Aus Open bracket right off...👌😊use the tutorial to get familiar with all the shots, serving etc then hone your skills in the tourny. My 3rd match in I was feeling comfortable...definitely the best way to learn n prepare...then starting career wont be as brutal because it is a grind. Great gameplay and the room for improvement is in it's realism...like there's ball boys but they wont chase balls when hit in the net.... Comon developers....do better lol....must buy being on sale though.

i played this 4 years ago when it was alittle rough around the edges but its alot better now 👍 create a player is detailed and solid. career mode is fun and indepth. animations and player movements at times appear AAA 👌 there's still the rare moment where a ball you should Definitely hit gets by you....also the game can be RIDICULOUS on the higher difficulties....but these are not game ruining things. its worth $9.99 just for the career mode 🙌
