ARCADE GAME SERIES: GALAGA

There may not be alot going on graphically in this game, but what it had for it's time was quality. Everything the devs did feels intentional and done with attention to detail. Sound effects have instant punch and feel great. Graphics have style , detail and pinache'. It may seem minimalist today, but what it did was set the bar and laid alot of foundation for games to come. Greatest shooter of it's time and a foundationally essential classic.

Needs 2p and fullscreen options to be full "original" Galiga. Will rate 5 stars when updated or added in.

This game is one of the great originals from the arcade days and Namco's first hit. Highly addicting and challenging which always keeps you coming back for more to go farther and set that new high score. Simplistic gaming at its finest. To the crybabies giving it 1 star saying not like the orignal cause no multiplayer, ummmmm did you truly not play it in arcade by virtue of the fact it was one joystick n button and multiplayer involved ALTERNATING I.e. taking turns, NOT playing at the same time on orignal 1981/82 cabinet. Always will have Love for this Classic Gem!!!!

Kids these days don't know.

Faithful to the original, still fun 30 years later! Wish it had a two player mode.
