Astro Flame Starfighter

Fun game. Great graphics and smooth controls. Only negative is no controler layout so how to use things is a guessing game

Such a great game only one thing bosses are very very very hard

Nice graphics, design, sound, gameplay. The drawback for me, and it's a big one, is the animation. The player's ship skips when it moves, the faster the ship moves the greater the skip, like checkers jumps. If that is smoothed out this is a buy for me. The enemies also skip but it's overshadowed by the player's ship issues.

Run of the mill SHMUP. Visuals and gameplay are pretty good, but enemies and bosses are somewhat generic. Most of the challenge in this game is from the homing missles chasing you while trying to dodge other bullets. Multiple difficulty levels, but normal and hard may require you to grind for ship upgrades. Not a bad SHMUP for the price, but nothing new/groundbreaking. Overall it was decent, but needs some major QoL updates. The movements seem off (laggy), no descriptions on upgrades, no controller layout, etc. And having a timed trial instead of a normal demo always makes me think the game is most likely short and/or shallow. Still, I somewhat enjoyed the little I played.
