Broken Universe - Tower Defense + Clumsy Rush

This has to be the most confusing setup menu I've ever encountered. I find the navigation to be completely confusing to the point of a waste of time.

I'm a huge tower defense fan so I usually try out every game that pops up in the genre. Usually they are half baked games that I delete after an hour but this one is special. Pretty, fun visual style, towers that are varied and fun to upgrade, a ton of skill and build upgrades and a nice long single player campaign. Runs like a dream too.

Its a solid game with an unnecessarially confusing upgrade system. Gameplay is 4.5 but mostly broken achievements and a frustrating experience outside of the levels is a 2. I love TD games though and this one has a lot of content for the price.

NOTE: v. 0.11.5 appears to have a bug preventing the game from getting past the 'Press any button to continue' screen. As a workaround, restart your console and then load the game up first - loading any other game or app prior to this will prevent play. Otherwise, a silly but fun tower defense game with surprising depth that encouranges grinding for permanent upgrades.

There is a learning curve to understand all of the ways to upgrade your towers and advance in this game, but it's addictive and fun once you get the hang of it. Achievements are now working as of 2/5/25.
