Golfing in Aether

(3/12/2025) Since there has been no new updates and no new content released, along with no more online players playing. This game has become a dead game. buy at your own discretion... The game works great and is fun to play, it is also fully cross play. it dose take a second to get use to online menus and finding friends, but once you get the hang of everything the game becomes very enjoyable. online you play on a 9 hole course and the course is random made from 80 different courses. again this is fully cross play with PS5, Xbox X/S, and Steam.

Ton of maps and it has local co-op.

Would be a good mini golf game if the actual hitting and scoring mechanics weren't awful. You choose how hard you want to hit with a sliding meter (which is fine... If it also wasn't extremely inconsistent btw), and then have to charge up your hit and swing when the meter is in the white zone. It's a timing minigame, which when combined with actually needing to time obstacles on the course, makes it virtually impossible at times. Not to mention scoring, you don't just get a score based on strokes, but HOW FAST YOU MAKE IT IN. Meaning you can't even score in the highest bracket without speedrunning -_- 1/5 mini golf game.

Don't know what happened before, but it works just fine now. Pretty entertaining so far. Haven't tried online yet though.
