MAVRIX by Matt Jones (Game Preview)

Then come back in a month in hopes of improvement. Rinse and repeat until desired results are achieved. Edit. Six hours of play after initial review, controls are getting more laggy feeling? Bunny hop input works a third of the time, and the 360 input needs redesigned, nothing like leaning into a curve and hucking a 360 to your death because you hit enough of a pebble to register as "getting air". Edit #2: Fifteen hours in and it's so irritating, reset function desperately needs a player set waypoint function. It occasionally resets you to far away from your last wreck. The sprint also needs reworked. Tapping like the tutorial instructs rarely works in first person. A better option might be instead of two pedal buttons, have one pedal and one sprint. Edit #3 two patches and an update later and the game is still meh at best. Lag spikes, fps drops, crashes. Camera view is horrid. Controls are even worse now... Bummer. Guess this one's not gonna improve with time.

The game is good but I should be able to remove my session marker. Or make it so when I crash I dont respawn at the marker i placed across the map. Tricks should be able to be performed mid jump ie spins and flips. Where is fast travel it gets boring having to cross the map for one run. If the lift has been discovered I should be able fast travel to said lift. Physics are like riding on ice sometimes and ollie works half the time. If these get fixed its a solid game and will continue playing. From what i see on pc it looks like console players got the pre pre release. Pc players doin flips and off axis spins. Why dont we have that. No possible way to make anywhere close to 100k plus points on a run. PC Players have huge advantage their version of the game is way more polished. Dont waste your money or space on this until the devs listen and fix console issues. Also fast travel to lifts unlock at lvl 30 lol thats a joke. Have fun grinding the game for 50+hours before you can fast travel

I got to tutorial 4 where you boost to jump the gap and did it several times with no update on completion. Game breaking for me at least, can't even progress. Maybe something interesting after they fix the first 5 minutes of the game, but we may never know.

Is it that hard to copy Dave Mirra

(Note game in Game Preview) This game definitly seems to have a ton of potential but has tons of bugs and a lot of stuff that needs to be fixed, the controls are amazing for a biking game but bunny hopping seems to work 1/5th of the time. Going around berms if you hit a mm of air you immdiately start doing a 360 and crash. the 360s and back/front flips seem to always want to do multipul rotations even if you put minimal input into it it make you have to pull for a while to counter it and land. My biggest issue right now is the Race boundaries its extreamly inconsistent with the visual poles and is insanely annoying. Some of the poles you can go 2-3 ft outside and its not considered OOB but some if you barely touch it respawns and gives you a penalty. The space between the poles is even worse with some boundries being way too far in or far out from where you visually would think they are. this pretty much requires you to go through every pole and figure out where it is.
