This game is visiually stunning, the flight combat feel quite satisfying, and It is not overly complicated. If your into space exploration definately get this.

Great game. Its not really a sim but plenty of fun mechanics. Reminds me of a old school game. There is no predatory money grubbing in game. Great visuals and buttery smooth controls. I hope they make another. I recommend it.

Wonderful, tight dogfighting. Drifting is truly innovative when you learn it. Nice characters and medium length story.

The game that it actually is, is great. But the trailer shows a video that makes it seem like you'll have gameplay outside the ship. You don't. You never come face to face with anyone. You interact entirely through radio. You live in your ship. On top of that, the story plays out like a sequel. It's like skipping A New Hope and starting somewhere in the middle of Empire Strikes Back. Except it expects you to know and understand what led up to the point where you start playing. It's disorienting. Having said all that, the gameplay itself is solid. Fun weapons that function well and have clear purposes. The flight is fluid and responsive. A couple of small bugs here and there. But what game is bug free? Save often, as you should with any game. Mechanically, the game is sound. The gameplay is very fun. If you can forgive the inconsistent story, I highly recommend for the gameplay. If the story's timeline made sense and it didn't imply in-person gameplay, it would get 5 stars.

Scratches that starfox itch.
