...because EVERYBODY was talking about how difficult it was, it being a "Souls-like" and all. So I tried the trial, and guess what? It IS hard; but also very fair. You DO die, a LOT; but you don't feel cheated when you do, and you not ONLY learn a valuable lesson, you still get a sense of accomplishment because you keep all your experience and gear (the stuff you have bolted on, and the scrap you've managed to bank at least). Sure, your backpack inventory gets left where you fell, but that just gives you a sense of "I believe you have something of mine!"-type satifaction when you retrieve it, which I like a lot. I picked the light rig, which makes the combat feel fast and fluid. The controls take a little getting used to, but they make sense once you have them down. All in all, I had a blast, making the current sale price of $20 an easy decision. And to tell the truth, it's really not that hard; once you learn to be careful...

The game is smooth and depending on playstyle choice the combat can be fast like Bloodborne or Hulky like LORDS OR DS series. Love the game but i am a fan of the soulslike genre so i may be biased. Only downfalls for me is no co op, would be great with a friend and more bosses only 5. That being said im in the final area and about 30 hours in. Worth the 60 and def worth 40 if it goes on sale. Souls fans buy it. People who get frustrated easy maybe pass on it. Ive died 160 times but always make forward progress. Very rewarding but again you will die........likely a lot

The rig is automatically equipped and is just a diffrent color yellow. As far as implants go you dont need them nor are they alll that useful

lost a star on dialogue and weak music if they focused more on those things and making the story not as background noise would be a solid 5. only wish is some sort of coop mode in the campaign
