Dangerous Driving
Three Fields Entertainment · Racing & flying
From the creative talent behind the genre-defining Burnout series, Dangerous Driving puts aggression back into the racing genre, recapturing the spirit of the past and taking it to a new place.
This definitely has the Burnout feel, with all the speed and destruction of previous Burnout games. It's only lacking the awesome (IMO) sountrack of the older games, but this is a small development team on a limited budget, so it's understandable that they can't afford the licensing. Luckily Spotify is integrated into the game so you can play your own music, including old Burnout sountracks (search for Burnout in Spotify). The reason I am docking a point is because of bugs. There was a bug where you could fall through the world, getting stuck in a loop even if you reset your car. That may have been fixed in the last patch because I haven't seen it since. But there are other problems, such as button prompts disappearing on end of race screens, leaderboards not showing top scores, and frame rates drops (pauses) when inside tunnels. Hopefully these will be fixed someday, especially the frame drops. It would be nice to see a sequel to this someday with a bigger budget and more polish.

Would almost believe this is an unreleased Burnout.
I Have been playing Burnout since 1 and 2 on Gamecube, then everything else released on PlayStation and Xbox. This is a solid effort in making a game that emulates burnout almost perfectly.
The lack of soundtrack is unfortunate, but the option to use Spotify for those who have it is cool. I guess. It would be better if Microsoft would allow us to use our own music from flash drive or hard drive.
The physics to take a little bit of getting used to it as it's not quite burnout. But once you get used to it if you enjoyed. Burnout 1, 2, and 3. Then this will be a game at you will enjoy as well.
I did pay for the pre order price. I think in its current state, it is worth $25 easily. And once the additional content and multiplayer drop, even more so.
In closing I'm torn I would give this a 4.5 or 4.75. Could be due to nostalgia, could be due to the fact that it does play very much like traditional Burnout games... A proper soundtrack and it would be a solid 4.75 - 5.0. Good price/value

Fun at $15 or games with gold
TL DR version:the game seriously needs to stay discounted, or on games with gold/game pass
The game is a blast for the $15 sale it was at, and it should have stayed there. After 2 years from it's original release it still lacks content and has a few bugs (albeit not as game breaking), not to mention dead online and had barely any advertisement. The team moved on to work on a sequel that was due for release last year and not much has been heard since, so all the more reason to let this release flourish more.

Broken as hell, but Fun.
If you were a fan of the original Burnout series before Paradise, you'll get a real kick out of this....but don't expect for the gameplay to be perfect.
It's pretty much just a reimagined Burnout 3 with slightly less content, mainly offering a long campaign with no multiplayer or crash mode (yet). The thrill you get from speeding, drifting, & wrecking opponents is still there, yet the physics can feel kinda wonky at times. It also kinda sucks that there's no licensed soundtrack, but you can link your spotify to the game which I thought was a awesome idea! More games should have this feature honestly.
It's cool to see the old Burnout devs pay homage to the original series, but I just feel like the game lacks alot of content at the moment.....then again, what else do you expect to get out of a $20 game?? I just hope that there are plans for DLC to give this game a little more bang for your buck.

Burnout 3 Part 2
Am very much enjoying this game, grew up w burnout 3 and this feels like a faithful update. Love the persistent wrecks!
