Dark Arcana: The Carnival

Always love Artifex HO games, this one sticks to the same fun formula as the previous titles. Completed 2 play throughs for all achievements in about 6 hours, so this one is very short. Was also annoyed at the 1 & 3 pt Gamerscore achievements...they are silly afterthoughts which potentially mess up a nice round total. Overall fun game with easy 1,000 GS. Looking forward to more!

I have just about every Artifex game so far and this is the best one in my opinion. My wife and I play these together and this one has the most actual search and find puzzles out of any. I wish they would do more like this instead of the shadow search and finds, just name the item to search for! By far the best... The worst Artifex game to us so far has been Queens Quest 4.

Great game, four stars for being short: I cant get enough.

There's an achievement breaking bug with the bonus chapter, "Save Jim". I've replayed the chapter 3 times and the achievement will not unlock. This breaks 100% game completion and a 50 Gamerscore achievement. Why is there not a patch to fix this by now?! If it wasn't for that, I'd rate the game 5 stars. It's your standard Search & Find game with puzzles. Which I've played since Ravenhearst 1 on PC many years ago.
