Call of the Elder Gods

Like most puzzle heavy games, it's more fun if you have a normal human attention span and like thinking about stuff.

Go get yourselves some nice cheese to go with the WHINE! Rating a game poorly because you don't like that it's on GamePass is just poor manners. Please cancel GamePass so the rest of us don't have to sift through trash reviews. (Looking at you, WXLF EuThiNize) Additionally, rating a game poorly because you don't understand Xbox game services (e.g. cloud saves) is also poor manners. FYI - firewall access does not equate to profile permissions. Perhaps it's best to stay off the internet... (Looking at you, TypicalGhostGuy) 5 stars to balance it out...too bad I can't rate it twice... 70% - 80% from most reviewers saying it's a fun puzzler with a "meh" ending. ✌🏻

Far from a GOTY contender, but I enjoyed this second opus more than the first one. Puzzles are ok and the story, while very classic, was fun. Not too long (around 6-7h on first playthrough) and that's a positive point. You should at least try it if you own a Gamepass subscription.

The auto note taking feature is genius. My only complaint is you move too slow, even sprinting. But it has nice Lovecraft vibes and a lot of nods to the literature. I never played Call of the Sea, it has spent years on my wish list lol, so I dont quite grasp the references to that game.
