This won't be a game for those with a short a short attention span. Or for those seeking non-stop action.
What we do get is a deeply personal game that is both incredibly dark and cerebral. Just go in blind and enjoy the darkness.
Well worth the price. I'm gearing up for my second playthrough, to grab my last couple of acheivements.

Amazing representation of societal pressures on art
This game is amazing and perfectly shows the burnout of trying to appeal to others. From the amazing scene design, to the suspenseful score, this game gave me more than enough to make me want to write this review and give it a 5 star rating. This game was beautiful and allowed me to reflect on my own views on my own hobbies. Beautiful game, with a heartbreaking story, and an impactful meaning. 10/10 would recommend.

Thoroughly Enjoyed!
Great game w\actual depth to it's storyline. Mechanics were smooth, no technical glitches, and there was a perfect balance of horror built in. You can definitely appreciate that this was a labor of love!
Loved the unique ending!

Definitely gets better as it goes
In general, I like this game and I like the personal connection behind it, but I think I would have honestly preferred an autobiographical story instead. The musician bits felt like someone trying to think of a metaphor for what they wanted to say, and not just saying it (until the end). And, kinda ironically, the combat isn't super great. There are some really good tense moments, like when you start having to deal with both enemy types, but once you die the tension kinda disappears and it can get frustrating. I would have liked a way to stun the enemies for a couple seconds so that getting back into stealth was more reliable.
Though the ending acts like he's come to a conclusion, I can tell Conner is still working through a lot of this stuff, and I actually think that is ok, I like having a story of someone in the middle of stuff just deciding to keep going.
Even though some parts don't hang together, I really think everyone involved does have something to be proud of here.
