Dead Static Drive

I can't give constructive criticism for this game because it would require a foundation to even set it on

There is no time to read the tiny font. There is no North on the minimap. There is no tutorial or controls. The game needs more time and this should've been a Game Preview. LB/RB rotates camera D up toggles headlights D down is the horn, hold for siren. To refuel car, press Y to fill up, then press A on fuel source, i.e gas pump handle, jerry can. I went into this game completely blind just to try, and am a fan of all things cryptids and folklore so that drew me in. Seemed interesting, art is simple but neat, character creation seemed fine and with different backgrounds i thought this was gonna be rather in depth. The start isnt well communicated with the controls and the camera is a bit janky, thats fine i guess, you get used to it. Its an okay base for a survival sandbox, but within the first building i enter i have an elephant gun, police shotgun, and a pistol all in a mechanics tool chest. The driving isnt great especially with the awful snappy camera that will never be centered on the road, and the roads are a pain in themselves. The map doesnt show where you are in town, only where you are. Npcs are nonsensical and the monsters, while cool, were never doing anything other than running into walls. The 1 stars are overhating but this doesn't feel finished. Play or dont, its disappointing either way. Definitely dont buy ;-;

I've been watching this game's development casually for years, and was surprised to see it on gamepass after not hearing about it for some time. Another failed indie project for the pile because of the lack of really most basic features, like no tutorial, barebones settings, and most importantly something to do other than having cool vibes. Sucks to see

I don't even know where to begin. There is no actual game here. Audio is a mess. Controls suck. UI is terrible. NPC behavior and conversation is nonsense. No map. Audio again is so bad I have to say it a second time. What even is this garbage doing being released to the public, in this state?
