It's a bit campy, but it's probably like that on purpose. Munro and violet are engaging characters. The rest are forgettable.

Definitely one of the better of FMV games out there
Stories are intriguing and our two leads have great chemistry as well as some legitimately well-done character development. Choices will have strong consequences within an episode but don't really carry into subsequent episodes.
Would recommend playing Doctor Dekker and Shapeshifting Detective first for an enriched experience.

More Mystery Fun in the D'Avekki-verse
Another great FMV game from D'Avekki Studios. I was so excited to see a throwback to the "couple gets wrapped up in a horror mystery" serials. All the actors were great, and Poe and Munro killed it as the titular team. I loved the ode to the theater/radio play acting of the mid century, it looked like loads of fun. I have a couple suggestions: try not to close in so tight on your actors, it feels a bit claustrophobic. Pull back some and utilize your sets more, because the space your characters occupy is as important as the acting and really elevates your story telling, especially in a genre so dependent on mood and atmosphere. I like when you had the point of view of the letter that Munro was reading in the beginning, you should definitely keep pushing in that direction and do more shot blocking. It gives the scenes more life and makes them feel less static, and it can help communicate the mood of a scene, such as building tension. Looking forward to the next mystery!

Favorite FMV so far!
Unique, odd, quirky and funny. Kept my full attention. I really liked the "So long and goodnight" MCR reference when Helena called.
