Doughlings Bundle

I wanna like this a lot but for some reason I find it really boring. I play this before work because I feel like it makes time go backwards.

This could easily have been an excellent game of this sort. It's not bad, it's okay, better than many brick breakers I've played in the last few decades. I'm at level 36 of 75, about halfway through it and have put in a few hours of play so far. Not much changes as you progress and it mostly looks like the same thing over and over again in every stage. Some minor differences are there but it won't look & feel like much, especially to help with repetition. There's nothing flashy here either, in sound or effects, it's pretty basic and I can see why some find it boring. This starts off super easy, doesn't get much harder later in but after gaining enough ability upgrades, becomes less of a bore and a little more entertaining. This type of game isn't usually of much interest to me but I did come back the next day to play it again. Still, it could had easily been much better.
