Earth Defense Force 2017

"Why did you get married?" "To save the World!" Best lines ever! Too much fun! So many weapons to play with!

EDF 2017 has FINALLY come to BackCompat on Xbox One!! Featuring beautifully bad graphics, lovingly crude character models, awful voice acting, physics, etc.; regardless, this is a Masterpiece!! Turn your brain off, turn your subwoofer up, and prepare yourself for the truest, most intense white-knuckled genuine brand of fun you can have! Only Battlefield comes close to this in terms of placing you in seemingly impossible situations against all odds, and leaves you to just fight your way through the hellish all-out crazyness of war! This game does it better, even giving you a great sense of that hopeless dread which forces you to step it up and let loose those beautiful cannons!! And it does so with tongue firmly in cheek! You'll find yourself cackling madly as you slay 1000's of alien insects, storm bug-infested hellholes, take down giant robots, destroy buildings, and other delicious treats; all the while taking in the complete insaneness of each situation! Even better with co-op! 5/5

We need more EDF games on Xbox please.

Frame rate is dramatically improved, haven't experienced a single drop on the X. Core gameplay is still a ton of fun. Just wish there would have been online co-op

YESSSSS!!!! FINALLY!!! THANK YOU!!! This is at GREAT sign that 2025 might be right around the corner!!! 😆👊 One of my all time favorite franchises!
