Ok so its a decent game with a few gripes. Aiming feels like a suggestion since the trajectory of the bullet is not reliably matched to the direction I'm pointing which is very frustrating. The fire rate of the weapons is AWFUL. Its like the trigger needs a vacation between shots. Reloading takes too long. The robot companion is mostly useless since it only fires its weapon on rare occasions. The UI and menus are a bit clunky and I discovered fast travel by accident since it isn't indicated. It would be amzing if two players could roam together. I hope the devs plan on updates, because this game has good potential. However, in its current state with the guns that shoot once every few days and take 3 weeks to reload, I would not recommend it to anybody.

Needs Dpad movement and/or mouse support.
You can use a keyboard to move and open the map, but the mouse is completely unutilized. Using a controller, trying to interact with objects and menus is a broken feature: trying to equip my rifle, the rifle instead disappeared forever. Aside from the unplayability, it seemed to be a game worth playing. I wish I was able to play long enough to see the actual scope of the game, and form a better opinion. So, on the chance that this game IS fun after a playability update, it gets 4 stars.
I actually really enjoyed the slower pace of combat, with the supposed ability to enjoy freely roaming. It reminded me of Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen, the OG top-down sandbox rpg.
