Grand Theft Auto IV

Unbiased opinion that most may not say, but its a little dated if you didnt grow up playing it. Some newcomers or die hard 5 fans may like it, but truth is most new age gamers will likely pass. I grew up with it so it's nostalgic for me... Especially the gay tony dlc... I hear that theme song and im a middle schooler on summer break again. Man now im depressed, its midnight and i work at nine tomorrow morning and i have to stay up to do laundry. Time flies man... And itll drag you with it by your ankles while you're clawing at the ground reaching out for the glory days. If you're reading this, i hope you and time are walking shoulder to shoulder, maybe even hand in hand.

It's so good to be playing Grand Theft Auto IV after so long

Completely just my own opinion. Not only do I believe this is the best GTA title. This may just be my favorite game of all time. I was 13 when this game came out. I am now 27 and still play it. Technically it's taken up over half of my life. Some could argue that 5 is better than this game. This game has some of the best characters in any video game. LC is gritty, but this game is dark in general, so it's my favorite map. This has one of the best stories in video game history. If you've yet to play it you're missing out on a masterpiece. 10/10 would ignore Roman's phone calls all over again.

Back when R* wasn't greedy!! Grand Theft Auto IV is by far (in my opinion) the best in the entire franchise. Its everything GTA V wasnt. Better physics, more realistic car crash damage, more detail in almost every way. If you can look past the smaller map and slightly dated graphics and if you like a more serious story mode aspect, this is the GTA for you. Even though GTA IV has slightly dated graphics and has a slightly dated feel, it still holds up to today standards. It has the goofy R* humor we all know and love, but with a more serious, dark story line. Keep in mind that there is a glitch in the last mission that people claim to make the game unbeatable due to higher frame rate if you are playing on new systems. But I can confirm that it is still beatable! Just look up a youtube video and it will show you a technique to work around the bug. If you want to play GTA but are bored of GTA V, give this game a try and also play the amazing DLC's. You will not be disappointed.
