Starfield

I've got a lot of time invested in this game (level 417 on first playthrough, haven't even finished MQ) and I've dealt with the bugs and set backs. This last patch has broken my save. Infinite loading screens, ship glitching into the planet when I take off, ending up stuck under landing gear when I exit ship. I don't have a single creation/mod installed or downloaded, because I'm trying to 100% my file first. I'm near the end now and the game has become so unstable that I'm ready to walk away. Please get this sorted and stop prioritizing emptying my wallet and trying to monopolize my time. I've invested nearly 20 days of playtime in this file in just the hours that count and not including the set backs and dropped loading and all. Respect my time, respect the players and fix this mess.

I love Bethesda RPGs, and I've been anticipating Starfield's release since it was announced. Unfortunately, Starfield seems to be following the "Quantity over Quality" blueprint that has plagued so many modern games. This game is absolutely massive but feels so hollow at the same time. The gameplay is basic, the writing is bland, and the world building feels shallow. The pacing is all sorts of bad, I feel like I'm in the menus more than I'm actually playing the game. The enemies are incredibly boiler plate, with little aesthetic or practical differences. The performance also feels pretty unoptimized. The combat may actually be the most fun part of this game, but it certainly isn't very standout when compared to others. I want to love this game, but doing so feels like a chore.

I want to play but i get about 30 min before a crash. I'm forced to play fast in fear of the inevitable crash.

The good days of bethesda are long gone, this game ensures i wont pre order ES6

Minus the humor, the story or a soul. I want to like this game and even stepped away from it for a month before writing this review. It just isn't good, in fact, I would call it bad. Take everything you like about Fallout and Skyrim, remove all the charm, insert "companions" that are sterile, a story that feels like it was written by an AI, the content of fallout3 spread out over 1000 plants with copy and pasted structures and you have Starfield... Writting this review has been more enjoyable than the game.
