GRID Legends

Im typing this from the year 2365. We have advanced technology that includes the ability to bend time. And yet here we are, STILL WAITING for this game to load in.

Great game. No BS just hit start and race. Forza horizon 5 was cool, but grid can be at times more enjoyable due to its simplicity.

Good graphics. A lot of attention to detail, like the heat around the exhaust pipe, and various particle effects. I like how the AI tries to block you and how random events like crashes and spinouts happen. It keeps the race exciting. The story was good, although there were a few audio bugs that kept the echo effect from the announcer through the one-on-one interviews during cutscenes. Killed the immersion a bit. Cool game tho. Nice cars. Good tracks. Nice Car Sounds.🐝

Spatial sound, Grreaat Grfx, great control, arcade style yes, but on sale ,...best $5.00 I have ever spent on a GAME,.. this is GREAT FUN ,.. FOR HOURS GET THE SUPER SIZE VERSION SOOO WORTH IT. Best Arcade+ Racer I can remember in years , but more Sim/Arcade,..(ie. No Paradise City Stunt Driving) ps 62 yr.Old Gamer gaming since 1972 Pinball & Pong just sum Cred fyi. LoL

I didn't love the previous Grid entries and therefore didn't spend much time on them. But this one surprised me and has had me hooked for quite a while. FM comes out any minute now, so this review might be a tad late, however credit where credit's due. GL is a fun, mildly challenging but chill racer that excels in its simplicity, fun arcade w/ a touch of sim driving, beautiful visuals, and straightforward progression. While I love the Horizon series, I'm not always in the mood for its overwhelming maps and to-do lists, nor its breakneck intense races (though I play on the harder difficulties in those). So Grid is a great relaxing way to enjoy checking off a few races without all the fluff. The tracks are fun, and I especially love the recognizable city courses like Chicago. I do wish the voice-overs were more accurate, though, because the idea is good, but half the time "your team-mate has crashed" isn't even true! I can see him, he's right in front of me and no he didn't! 😆
