Hydrophobia

The game itself is fine. Short, but ok. Water physics are good, and how you break windows and whatnot to essentially use water to attack enemies is interesting. Sadly, if you want the full story and everything, you'll have to get the game on PC, on Steam.

I will not sugarcoat, in its current state it is an janky game that never got fully realized. It cannot be fully experienced outside of Steam. The foundation of this game however is extremely solid in terms of story, main protagonist, and core gameplay ideas. Sadly it'll never be fully realized, Hydrophobia bankrupted its devs, and no one knows who might own the IP rights. This game has been my main inspiration to get into game dev, so that one day it can have a spiritual successor that helps fully realize and bring attention to not only the game in general, but what it could have achieved. Love this game so much, recommend highly.

U can finish the game in 1 afternoon. Ending felt weird, like the rescue mission/escape wasnt finished. Idk who the bad guy is or the motive. Game definitely shows its age. Had good potential. Bare bones for like a spy/heist game. Gameplay reminded me a little of watch dogs with the camera hacking and decrypting mini games. Wouldnt mind a remake with completed story... Backstories, character names, QTEs, motives, character development, resolution

All in all it's not horrible but it's not good either, worth a try

I started to enjoy the gameplay as soon as I got in, but eventually it just got repetitive. The story wasn't very intersting, and all the documents just kept repeating the same stuff and just didn't really make any sense to me. I think the major problem was the ending (if you could call it that). At first, I thought it was episodic or something and when the credits started rolling after Act 3, I would be playing the next part of the game. Turns out, there is literally no continuation after that. It just ends on a cliffhanger. I would've given it a 1 star if the gameplay wasn't somewhat interesting.
