Immortal Redneck

Very minor visual glitches here and there, otherwise perfect. 7 or so archetypes to play, tons of weapons and skills. RNG can be amazing or diabolical, like all rogues, but the persistent upgrades make it worth it. I got this on sale in 2024 for 6 bucks and I wish I had picked it up in 2018 after playing it. Doom like movement in a Ziggurat format was a genius mix.

Fast-paced 60 fps gunplay that feels old school, rogue like elements (random weapons, items and enemies every time you start over) and a skill tree for permanent upgrades. Imagine Doom meets Binding Of Isaac but with stat progression after death. Not as punishing as Isaac, but you will die quite a bit. Game is very smooth. Very enjoyable to play and I hope they update in the future with more rooms and items 👍 (*update* there's an extremely frustrating bug where if you save and quit and then load the game back up, you lose ALL of your picked up weapons and scrolls, yet it keeps the progress of cleared rooms. I really doubt this is intended, otherwise it defeats the whole purpose of save/quit. I found that if you just close the game app instead of quitting, you will have all your items when you load it up again)

fun, fast, fps. like the good old days of turok and goldeneye.

Great game, very diverse amount of guns and scrolls (perks). Might get a little boring when I've seen everything, but by that time it is most definitely worth the money.

I didn't immediately love it but it sucked me in with the gameplay. Definitely worth a try if you like Quake or Doom like arena shooters. Has a good system for upgrades and overall a little addictive.
