Joe Dever’s Lone Wolf Console Edition

And so, too, does this game pretend to be. The game aims to beckon to readers, but truthfully if you jammed the entirety of this games' text between two covers, it likely couldn't be long enough to be considered a novella. Although the game claims original author Joe Dever had a hand in the development and plot, it seems perhaps the last 30 years have been tremendously unkind to his storytelling abilities. This really feels like a game intended for a phone or tablet, not a next-gen console. Yet, if that doesn't dissuade you, feel free to read on. The game is fun. When you're not dying from one of the more unforgiving RNGs in use today, it's pretty cool to kill three enemies at once with the Sommerswerd. And, no, that's not a typo. I've been thorough. The game crawls at a snail pace perfect for most any stoner. However, egregious loading times for ultra short combats leave a lot of extra time to smoke those 1/8ths right up. As a former fan, it isn't what I wanted, but I've enjoyed it.

GET HEAL ABILITY ITS OP. At least 1 achievement is broken. Skipping every page still takes 12+ hrs to beat. Game freezes if u pause start of battle. Qte fights are annoying

It reminds me of the 80's when you and your friends sat around playing DnD. Its a story book come to life. It's definitely not perfect but well enough to play and enjoy. Good relaxing game to chill to.

It's like running a DnD campaign by yourself. Get it on sale, unless you really, really love reading.

Fair warning a big part of the game is reading. You have been warned
