Done Right
The current generation of "AAA" games is getting crushed by older games like this bc it gives what people really want wo adding their own "twist" or altering the original. I honesty believe we are in a gaming crash and the only thing keeping it alive is older games and indie studios that listen to the people who ultimately buy their games.

Terrific remaster! 3DO classic
Day one purchase for original 3DO gamers like myself. Looks and plays great. Can we get remasters of Road Rash and Shockwave 2 next please? Maybe Bladeforce? Well done devs!

The Future is R.E.A.L.!
In 1993 gamers had a choice. You could play the flat, 2D, limited experiences offered by 16-bit systems of the time. Or, you could step through a doorway into the future with a gaming system so powerful it was almost mythical. Two years before the Playstation would shove it's way onto the stage, the razors edge, 32-bit powerhouse, 3DO, created a paradigm shift in gaming that almost could not be believed, even when it was seen. Look up Road Rash for Genesis on Youtube. Then look up the 3DO version. Take a moment to absorb the fact that the two were contemporaries, very possibly sitting side by side on store shelves. Now do the same thing with Wing Commander for SNES and Wing Commander 3 for 3DO. Between 1993 and 1995, once you tasted the textured, shaded polygons, luxuriant CG renders, and crystal CD audio of the 3DO, and picked your jaw up from the floor, there was no going back. You were trapped in the future, mesmerized by its power and excited for where gaming was headed.
