Kingdom Come: Deliverance - A Woman's Lot

Let me start by saying that I love what this DLC adds to Theresa's character, and the cutscenes are a treat (that you should just watch on YouTube). However, gameplay wise this is the worst DLC I've ever played. The quest are tedious and frustrating. If there's one good thing to come out of my experience playing this, its made me appreciate the original gameplay that much more. I don't know what they were thinking telling you to wander around in the dark looking for TEN flowers with a dog mechanic that flat out doesn't work. Do you know how mad you have to make someone to write out a full review with a controller?

Story is good gameplay is not. Just vetch quests with way too many items to vetch. One of the quests you have find 10 plants, some water, and 3 peices of linen across a massive area in the dark with Cumans. It tells you to use the dog to find the plants but the dog justs runs around the place and gets stuck on rocks so you have to do all the finding by yourself. This DLC will just get you rushing to play as Henry again and you cannot back out. I have not even finished the DLC and I am already this bored and annoyed with it and based on other reviews it does not get any better. At least I got the game and all the DLC for $3.99 with a 90% off sale on the royal edition.

This dlc has its moments but jesus does it love making you jog around the town and woods for hours. If you wanted to really appreciate your horse on a deeper level this dlc is for you because you will miss your steed something crazy just minutes in. Going at a snails pace is the bread and butter of the game, but this dlc could tip even the most patient players into madness.

Ok.... I love this game as a whole, but developers what were you even thinking? You need to ask yourself, will this be FUN to play? It especially sucks because you can join this DLC so early and it made my friend get a bad impression of the game and quit. Seriously cmon guys, don't force something if it isn't there. Hope you learned from this for KCD2!!

Good story and great characterization for Theresa but, as others have said, the gameplay makes it tedious, frustrating, and arguably the worst DLC I've ever played. Absolute slog, couldn't wait for it to be over. Do yourself a favor, skip downloading this specific DLC and just watch it on YouTube. Not worth it.
