Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Royal Edition

I learned to read, launched a solo Crusade against my enemies in the forests & spent an inordinate amount of time earning tens of thousands of Groschens by poaching everything in those same forests. Was also drunk 90% of the time to level up my drinking skill. So yeah, would recommend it.

If you love a game with great immersion, story and combat, this game is for you. So much love packed into a game by the developers. I have bought this game 4 times as gifts for my frinds (who were skeptical) and they all fell in love with the game. Please, support developers who make games because they love what they are making.

For those struggling with the games high difficulty, I suggest not leaving the starting area around Rattay until you get to around level 10-15 nor should you progress in the main campaign as well. You will be weak as hell when you get to Rattay and will need to beef up Henry if you want any chance of survival out in the wildsof Bohemia. Don't forget to practice lockpicking as the luck of the drunk perk is like a cheat code.

Y'all, this is a ROLE Playing Game. As such, your ROLE begins as a blacksmith's son in the year 1403. For those that can't grasp that, this is medieval times we're talking about here. This is not a game you can just blitz through or topple the Kingdom of Bohemia like an unstoppable juggernaut. You have to take your time and think things through in a logical manner. During a fight, what kind of opponent is going to stop fighting to give you time to bandage your wounds? And on that subject, what kind of blacksmith's son is instantly a weapons master, able to pick up any weapon and just know how to fight like a beast? You have to learn everything and actually put yourself in Henry's shoes and approach every situation as you would in real life. If you're able to do all that then you'll really appreciate everything this game has to offer. It's a really great medieval simulation with a great story. I highly recommend this game for anybody willing to give it the time it deserves. 10/10

My firs time ever leaving a review. I got this game a few months ago when it was on sale for $6. it went on sale again for $6 during christmas and now its on sale again for $4. this is legit one of the best games ive ever played in 20 years of gaming. if you yearn for the older style rpg's from the early 2000's that have a lot less hand holding, geniunely interesting story and its not a fetch simulator. $4 for this masterpiece is one of the best values in gaming of all time imo. I'd highly recommend considering hardcore mode. It's not perma death but it gives you an experience you wont find anywhere else in modern gaming. 10/10 have already played through twice in 4 months and will start a third run at some point this year. (warning: if you talk to teresa and begin her story, it starts a multi hour long dlc that you cant leave once you start. (you also dont play as henry in it) so dont take her up on the offer until youre very ready
