Life is Strange: Reunion Twin Pack

Everytime I play a life is strange game, I feel alone.

Game was fantastic glad to play max again and i can't wait for the next one shakabrah

I'm just a simple fan that fell in love with LIS 1 and BTS but heres my humble opinion. After playing through the first ep i can confidently say that without a doubt Chloe and the decisions that were made in the first game don't matter which really upset me. Its like they're treating her as an afterthought in this game and the introductions to the new cast of characters feel sorta forced and in your face. Sure i only played the first ep so who tf am i to start critiquing a game i havent finished and its no LIS 1 or BTS that stole my heart but DE didn't even hook me long enough before i started getting bored. I love Hannah Telle and Max but not sure just the 2 of them will keep me invested in the story which really disappointed me. But don't let reviews alone stop ya from experincing the story yourself. Idk how I feel tbh. I will admit, the first chapters of the game were really good, I expected it to be somehow connected to another Max and how her powers had consequences from the first game, but then it wasn't Max? I still found interesting that Sofi had powers, but the way they narrated it was bad. It felt like a netflix show that didn't know what they were doing for 8 episodes except this time they only had 5. The romance felt pointless, I didn't get to know the characters at all and had to only decide based on assumptions and observations. We didn't KNOW them like how we knew Steph and Ryan, or even Chloe. It felt dull. The whole halucinations through time was forced, like they had to put something there that wasn't even a good sequence like how lis 1 was. The first game made sense. It was thought out and I actually felt for characters. I didn't for this game. Now the whole ending was trash too, and it felt like this was a game to start up a new mcu. It could've been better

Let's start with the pros. Best graphics we've seen in the Life is Strange series. It's gorgeous and really sets the tone for the potential of this game. Other than that, I enjoyed the powers, using Max's Camera, being in a different area of the US(as each game is), and even some of the characters like Safi. This game had the potential to be a 10/10. Now for the cons. The Story. Was it made by AI? AI might do better than that. It was so confusing, by the end of the game, I didn't even know what or why anything was happening. A spoiler free explanation here is they dropped a major part of the story with 0 explanation. It feels like a poorly written fanfic rather than what brought all of us to LiS inthe first place. Deck9. I see the effort.. but please take notes from dontnodd. Im trying to keep things spoiler free but throwing everything that fans came to love about 1 and 2 in the trash is not the move here.
