Liftoff: Drone Racing Deluxe Edition

Liftoff apparently is a great game on PC. Liftoff on console has potential, but in its current state it is not worth the price tag. The game is very buggy; not only are there game-breaking throttle issues but some parts in the workbench bug your drone and make it unflyable. With DRL being $10 and infinitely more stable, with much better visuals, the message is clear: Liftoff is an inferior product with a steep price tag. Buyer beware.

I absolutely love Liftoff on my pc, so I bought this thinking it was the same game. Boy was I wrong. This game sucks dude. There is some serious potential, but they need to show some love to this game and update it to the same as the pc version.

I doubted others who said the controls are broken. They are! The instructor clearly has working controls that I don't. It is virtually impossible to hover at a desired altitude, and you are supposed to manage that along with overly sensitive steering, pitch and roll...all at the same time. Virtually impossible! This game should not be sold at any price until its fixed. It is clearly abandonware. Do not buy at any price!

The base game is good, better than most. But the tutorial has accidentally been made as difficult as getting over it. The game has new controls yet does not explain the functions then gives you a level that reqiures knowledge you do not have and punishes the player with a complete reset at every minor mistake. If you buy the game DO NOT SELECT "just starting" the game will become a rage game. Try out drones in the builder for practice and watch tutorials. Devs, plz fix.

Controls are not even like a real drone and the flying is so blocky. Save your money
