Little Nightmares III

I bought the game thinking I could play with a friend at home but I guess you can't do that... Please make local co-op available!

I agonized between 3 or 4 stars but settled on 3. I love the first two Little Nightmare games but found this one lacking. It doesnt deal with the story of Six from LN 1 & 2 and there are alot of empty rooms. What I mean is, is you'll be in an area doing a puzzle and theres just rooms that serve no narrative purpose and arent really interesting they're just there. The first two games also crafted an interesting story with no dialogue and had interesting twists, this? I was never really engrossed in its story. Supposedly the devs are doing more story stuff through upcoming DLC but thats basically charging you to complete the story that the main game should have already done. The game does have highlights of course the Carnivale and Stage levels are highlights but the Desert and Hospital ones drag it down. This review hurt to write as I was genuinely pumped for Little Nightmares III but I was let down by it.

Why is there online co-op but no couch? TFFF!???

If it says trial even if you preorder it just check if u download everything for it, I was having the same issue but it went away after downloading everything 4 it

Heartbroken. As a hardcore Little nightmares fan, I came into this game extremely excited and optimistic. Gameplay is fun, same formula but nothing innovative to distinguish it from the first two. The story isn't terrible but the bosses are underwhelming and non memorable. AI can be irritating at times. I expected too much. I hope the devs listen and patch things up to make it truly special like it should be. Don't let this be the death of this amazing franchise. Reanimal has all the hype now. Edit: The Backstage DLC blew me away! The devs are definitely getting the LN feel back. This is what we were missing in the base game. The puzzles, the pupeteer, the story. 10/10! I can't wait for the Shores DLC. Thank you to Supermassive for such an exceptional job.
