Marshmallow Marvin is a average indie platform arcade release. On release date less then smooth but, the patch actually helped a lot (it's night & day) runs smooth as silk! (only real negative the delay when Achievements pop) But, besides that its a B- experience (A+ for Devs getting on the ball and fixing the glaring issues) i'll probably double dip and buy the SeriesX version to show respect/support to the Devs (worth a blind buy for Retro/Platformer/Achievement junkies)

Yes i like games ,achievements and gamer score. Does every easy game deserve a 5/5 ??? No this is a sad trend that needs to stop. So what does marshmallow marvin do right? The music design and sound are the best parts. The enemy mostly spikes level design and character make a cocktail of the uninspired. the old Nes platformers have story but not most games of today? Everyone uses the same AI game making program which just embarrasses the ai,because of the lack of human creativity behind it. Buy only on sale like most of these carbon copy games or not at all. I will say good job on the music and sound.
