Good action. Jumpdash feels good. No diagonal aim is lame. Often you get hit simply because it's too hard too see projectiles due to goosing so hard. LET THE GOOSE LOOSE!

Great game hamstrung by poor UX
Mighty Goose has the potential to offer tons of run and gun fun with gameplay reminiscent of the likes of Megaman and Metal Slug. Unfortunately the default control setup when playing without a controller is a far cry from any form of standard configuration. While kudos must be given for the rare effort put into the ability to customize key bindings, having them all reset back to defaults when you die nullifies any value that option has. Play with a controller or not at all.
